• A Gift voucher is a discount or gift you would like to offer to your customers, so that, they can have a great shopping experience and the perfect deal.

  • To offer a discount, you need to create a relevant 'Gift Voucher Campaign' for an amount based discounts with predefined conditions and then you need to create 'Gift Voucher' (i.e. Voucher Codes) under this Campaign for different customers viz, 'Registered Users, Non-Registered Users, and User Groups'.
  • After creating the gift vouchers, you need to mail them to the respective customers manually for availing the discounts.
  • For sending the gift voucher codes to the end-users, you need to send the emails manually to the respective end-users. These emails will be sent when the Send Email link of the respective Voucher in the Manage Gift Vouchers page is clicked based on the configuration of respective options as explained below.

How do I view and customize the email template that is used for sending the emails while sending the gift voucher codes to the end-users?

To view and customize the email template that is used for sending the emails while sending the gift voucher codes to the end-users, do the following:

  • Log in to the 'MartJack Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.


 Manage Communication Events

  • You will be navigated to the Dashboard page.

  • Click the  Manage Communication Events icon. The Settings section will be displayed as shown in the figure.


 Email Templates

  • Click Mail Manager, and select Email Templates. You will be navigated to the Mail Manager > Email Templates page.

  • By default, the Registration Intimation tab will be opened and the relevant sections will be displayed.
  • To view and customize the mail template that is used for sending the emails while sending the gift voucher codes to the end-users, click the Send Gift Voucher Code tab and you will be displayed the relevant sections.


From Email:

 Email Templates

  • Select an email from which you want to send this mail from the From Email drop-down.
    • Note: All emails configured through the SMTP Configuration will be displayed in this drop-down.

  • To customize the email template for sending mails to you and to those people who are specified by you, navigate to the Send email to Me (Merchant) section.


Send email to Me (Merchant):

 Email Templates

  • To get an email to yourself, select the Send email to Me (Merchant) checkbox.
  • Enter the subject of the mail in the Mail Subject text box.
  • To send a copy of your mail to other persons like your partners, store managers, etc… (if required), select the Send to Others checkbox. Then you will be displayed a text box in which you need to enter the respective Email Ids separated by a comma.


Defining/Customizing Template:

  • You can find a large text box here, where you can define the respective template code. Here you can enter the 'HTML code' or plain text.

  • You can also use the default template. If you want to use the default template, click Use Default Template. The default template will be fetched in the text box.
    This template is a Razor Template, which can be easily customizable as per your merchandising requirements.
    • Note:
      • You can also edit the 'Default Template' as per your requirement.
      • The information about the Customer, Order, Product, site etc… will be retrieved through respective parameters (Placeholders) that are used in this template. You can use only valid predefined parameters (Placeholders), that are created by us while creating/customizing the template.
  • To customize the email template for sending mails to end-user, navigate to the Send Mail to end user section.


Send Mail to end user:

 Email Templates

  • To send an email to end-user, select the Send email to end user checkbox.
  • Enter the subject of the mail in the Mail Subject text box.

  • To navigate to the Mail Manager page, click the Clicking Here link of the success message.
  • You can also navigate to the Home Page by clicking the Home Page link of the success message.

1. The email template mentioned in the Send Mail to end-user section will be displayed in the Template section of the Send an Email dialog box, which will be displayed while sending Gift vouchers to different users through the emails.

Note: If you change the template of the Send Mail to end user section of the Mail Manager page, the Template in the Send an Email dialog box, which will be displayed while sending the emails to end-users, will also be changed. But not vice versa.
