Let's discuss each option in the 'Purpose' drop-down in detail:


 Product Showcase

  • i) Normal or regular product showcaseTo display only the configured products of a showcase, ensure the Regular option is selected from the 'Purpose' drop-down (By default, the Regular option is selected).
  • By selecting the Regular option, an Is Multi-Tab checkbox will be displayed.
  • Select the 'Is Multi-Tab checkbox for creating the multiple Product Showcases (by means of Tabs, i.e. also called Tab Showcase) within this product showcase.
  • Upon selecting the 'Is Multi-Tab?' checkbox, you will find an Add New tab after clicking the Parameters section.


 Product Showcase

  • Note: Please Refer: b) Configuring multiple showcases within a showcase (Tab Showcases), which is discussed in Parameters section for further actions.

  • ii) Refine Search:
  • The refine search control enhances the search facility by enabling the search filtration through the multiple options such as: Categories, Brands, Attributes, Variants, Price Range, Availability (active/inactive product), Product tags, or Product Groups.


 Product Showcase

  • To display the products as per the selection of the 'Refine Search' filters, select Refine Search from the Purpose drop-down.
  • Note: To display the refine search products, you need to drag and drop the 'Refine Search' control and configure the same on the same page to enable this functionality.

  • In a single page, if more than one 'product showcases' are configured by selecting the 'Refine Search' option in the 'Purpose' drop-down, this functionality will not work.

  • However, if many 'product showcases' are there in a page and only one 'product showcase' has configured with the 'Refine Search' option in the 'Purpose' drop-down, then the 'Refine Search' functionality will work for that showcase.

  • By selecting the Refine Search option from the Purpose drop-down, you will find an Is Refine Filter checkbox.
  • This checkbox will be used to display ‘Active Filers’ (i.e. the selected filtering options of the 'Refine Search' control) in a breadcrumb format in Product Showcase as shown in the figure. By clicking on an active filter, the user can close that filer.

  • iii) Search Results: To display the products of search results, select Search Results from the Purpose drop-down.
    • Note: When the Search Results is selected from the Purpose drop-down, the options for selecting the products will be disappeared and you can't add products here.
  • iv) Self Product: To display the Deal details of the selected Deal from another showcase that is mapped in the same page, select Self Product from the Purpose drop-down.

    • Note: When the Self Product is selected from the Purpose drop-down, the options for selecting the products will be disappeared and you can't add products here.

  • v) Self Group: To automatically retrieve the products from the group of 'Flash Sale Event,' select 'Self Group' from the 'Purpose' drop-down.

    • Note:
      • For displaying the 'Flash sale products', the showcase has to be configured in the relevant 'Section Page', which is mapped to the 'Flash Sale' (i.e. in 'Add/Edit Flash Sale' page)
      • When the Self Group is selected from the Purpose drop-down, the options for selecting the products will be disappeared and you can't add products here.

  • vi) Recently Viewed: To display the recently viewed products, select Recently Viewed from the Purpose drop-down.
    • Note: When the Recently Viewed is selected from the Purpose drop-down, the options for selecting the products will be disappeared and you can't add products here.
