Purpose:

  • Product showcase control enables you to display the required products in a showcase on a selected page of your Web store.

  • You can also configure and display 'multiple Product Showcases' (Tab Showcase) within a showcase through different 'Tabs'.

Salient Features:

  • Products to be displayed can be selected through the 'Category' or 'Brand' or 'Product Group' or 'Recommendation Groups' or 'Product Tags'.

  • You can display an unlimited number of products through each showcase.

  • You can also select the page and template in which you want to showcase the products.

  • Product showcase can be generally used to display best selling products, high-profit products, new releases, deals & offers of the month, etc… But, there is no limitation for its creative usage.

  • Customer can easily get the basic details of the products from this showcase and can easily navigate into the Web store.

1. How do I configure the 'Product Showcase' Drag & Drop control?

How can I place the 'Product Showcase' control on any desired page and configure it?

How do I showcase my products in the storefront?


To configure the 'Product Showcase' control, please do the following:

  • Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the 'Dashboard' page.

  • Click the  Product Showcase icon. The Dashboard & Setup section will be displayed as shown in the figure.

  • Click Design Home Page. You will be navigated to the Drag & Drop Controls page.

  • Select a page from the Design Your Site drop-down (which is located on the top) in which you want to add the Product Showcase control.
    • Note: If the required page is not available in the drop-down, you can create it now. Please refer: Create Custom Pages
  • By default, the Product Catalogue tab will be selected. Drag and drop the Product Showcase control into a pane as per your requirement.
  • Click the Edit button, which is at the top right corner of the Product Showcase control. This will open the Product Showcase dialog box as shown in the figure.

  • By default, the Display Title option is selected as ON. If you don't want to display the title of the control in CP (Control Panel) and in the storefront, select Off from Display Title option.
  • By default, the Display Control option is selected as ON. If you don't want to display this control in the storefront, select Off from Display Control option.
    • Note: If 'Display Control' option is selected as Off, but the control is properly configured in a page, then the control will be displayed in the respective page of CP (Control Panel) but not displayed in SF (Storefront).


There are two sections in the Product Showcase:

  1. Configuration: In this section, the Design and Display settings are mostly covered.

  2. Parameters: In this section, the products are mapped to the showcase.

  • After completion of the configuration, click Update.
  • You will be navigated to 'Drag & Drop Controls' page and the added products of the showcase should be displayed in the 'Product Showcase' control.

  • To preview the Product Showcase, click Preview. The 'Product Showcase' will be displayed as shown in the figure in your storefront.

  • To upload the Product Showcase to your Web store, click Publish.
  • To view the exact look of your just uploaded Product Showcase, click View Live Store.
  • The 'Product Showcase' will be displayed as shown in the figure in your storefront.


This is how you can publish your Product Showcase on any page of your webstore by using the Product Showcase control.
