There are two types of 'attribute values':
You can find the 'predefined attribute values' (if any) are displayed in the drop-downs against respective attributes in the Enter Product Attributes page as shown in the figure.
You can find the text boxes for entering the 'custom or normal attribute values' against those attributes in the Enter Product Attributes page as shown in the figure.
You can reach to the Enter Product Attributes
page after clicking the Save and Next
button in the previous steps (i.e. in Additional Information
- if the 'Does this product has product options/variants' checkbox is not selected in the 'Basic Information' section else in Variants
you can also reach by clicking the Attributes
tab at the top right corner of the page as shown in the figure.
Attributes are the specifications of a product such as the pixels of a camera, stand-by time of a battery, touchscreen feature of a phone, etc…
Attribute Values are the values of the attributes.
For example, if the 'Pixels of Camera' is an 'Attribute', the '2 Mega Pixel' (M.P.), 3 M.P., etc… are the 'attribute values'.
There are two types of 'attribute values', (i) Pre-defined attribute values and (ii) Normal or custom attribute values.
Select the suitable 'predefined attribute values' (Wherever applicable) from the drop-downs of respective attributes.
Enter the suitable 'normal or custom attribute values' (Wherever applicable) in the text boxes of respective attributes.
Enter the suitable units for the 'normal or custom attribute values' (Wherever applicable) in the Unit text boxes of the respective attributes.
To save the 'attribute values' and proceed further, click Save and Next. The 'attribute values' will be saved and you will be navigated to the Product Images page for associating the product images such as 'Zoom, Deep Zoom, Thumbnail, Swatch, Custom, and Large Images' to this product.
You can also click Save and Return to Product List button, to save the 'attribute values' and redirect to the 'Product List' page.
You can also click Save and Add New button, to save the 'attribute values' and add a new 'product'.
You can also click Save button to save the 'attribute values' and stay on the same page (i.e. if you don't want to add further details now).
