• You can reach the Product Images page after clicking the Save and Next button in the previous step (i.e. in Attributes or you can also reach by clicking the Images tab at the top right corner of the page as shown in the figure.


 Add/Edit Physical Products

  • There are two scenarios here:
    • 1) When the 'dynamic image resize' facility is disabled
    • 2. When the 'dynamic image resize' facility is enabled or activated


Scenario - 1: When the 'Dynamic Image Resize' facility is disabled: Please Refer: Dynamic Image Resize

  • In this scenario, you can find the Product Image Sets section and different sets of configured images (if any) as shown in the figure.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Note: Each Image set can accommodate different types of images, namely, Zoom/Deep Zoom/Thumbnail/Large Image (other than the basic large image that is added in the 'Basic Information' section)/Small (for displaying 'Rollover images in Showcase')/Custom Images.
  • To add a new set of images, click the Add Image button of an image set (say Image Set 1). You will be displayed a Add/Edit Image Set dialog box.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Enter the sequence of the image set (Mandatory field) in the 'Sequence' text box.
  • If variants are mapped to this product, you can find the three radio buttons here - No AssociationVariant Property and Variant SKU. By default, the No Association radio button is selected.
    • No Association: When you want to map the images to the main product instead of variant values or variant SKU, select this option.
    • Variant Property: By selecting this radio button, you can map the images for the selected variant value. That means this is the variant value level image mapping for the specific product.
      • When this radio button is selected, the following section will be displayed.


 Add Bundle Product

  • To map the images for variant values, do the following.
    • Select the respective variant from the Variant Property drop-down.
    • Select the required variant value for which you want to map the images from the Variant Value drop-down.
  • Variant SKU: By selecting this radio button, you can map the images for the respective variant product. That means this is the variant SKU level image mapping.
  • When this radio button is selected, the following section will be displayed.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Select the required variant SKU from the Variant SKU drop-down.
  • Now associate different types of images for the selected set of images. You can select the images from the image repository or from your PC.
  • To select the large image from your PC, click corresponding Browse button. You will be displayed an Open dialog box.
  • Note: The name of this dialog box might be changed as per the browser you are using.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Select the required image from your PC and click Open. The Open dialog box will be closed and the file name of the selected image will be displayed in the Large text box.


OR

  • You can also select the image from the Image Repository if you have uploaded the same through the File Manager
  • To select the Large Image from image repository, click the corresponding Select button. You will be displayed an Image Picker dialog box displaying the corresponding images from the image repository.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Double click on the required image. The Image Picker dialog box will be closed and the file name of the respective image file will be displayed in the Large text box.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Large image is mandatory for 'additional images', which will be opened when the 'Thumbnail Image'/'Zoom' button/'Custom Image' is clicked after the proper configuration.

  • Multiple 'small images' will be used for displaying the rollover images in the showcase, which can be enabled by adding a relevant tag in the product showcase template

  • Thumbnail image is mandatory when the 'small' or 'large' images are defined.
  • Similarly, associate the required Small, Thumbnail, Zoom, Deep Zoom, and Custom images through the corresponding Browse or Select buttons.
  • Enter the small image alternative text in the 'Showcase Alt Text' text box.
    • Note: This text will appear when you mouseover on the 'Small Image' in the 'product showcase' (i.e. in the Storefront)
  • Enter the large image alternative text in the 'Product Page Alt Text' text box.
    • Note: This text will appear when you mouseover on the 'Large Image' in the 'product details' page (i.e. in the Storefront).
  • To save the Image set, click Save. The 'image set' will be saved and it will be displayed in the Product Image Sets section as shown in the figure.


 Add Bundle Product

  • To edit the images of a set (if required), click the Edit Image button of that set and follow the same procedure as explained above.
  • To delete a set of images, click the ' Add Bundle Product' icon of that set. The respective set of images will be deleted and you will be displayed a relevant success message.
  • Similarly associate other sets of images (if required).
  • Swatch Image Sets: You can define the swatch images against the required variant values for the selected product here.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Prerequisites: For displaying the Swatch Image Sets section in the Product Images page, the following prerequisites to be fulfilled.
    • i) The Display Swatch checkbox should be selected to any one of the Variant property.
    • ii)The Swatch image source of any variant property should be selected as Product Image Set
  • To associate swatch images against the required variant value for the selected product, you can select the images from the image repository or from your PC.
  • To select a swatch image from your PC, click the corresponding Browse button. You will be displayed an Open dialog box.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Select the required image from your PC and click Open. The Open dialog box will be closed and the file name of the selected image will be displayed in the Swatch Image text box.


OR

  • You can also select the image from the Image Repository if you have uploaded the same through the file manager
  • To select the Swatch image from the image repository, click the corresponding Select button. You will be displayed an Image Picker dialog box displaying the corresponding images from the image repository.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Double click on the required image. The Image Picker dialog box will be closed and the file name of the respective image file will be displayed in the Swatch Image text box.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Similarly associate the swatch images against all the required variant values.
  • After completing the required sets of images, click Next. You will be navigated to the Manage Stock - Location wise page, where you can add location wise inventory for this product.

  • Note It is mandatory to select the Location Based Inventory checkbox under the Basic Information section in the Add/Edit Product page - Please Refer: Basic Information for updating the location wise stock.


Scenario - 2: When the 'Dynamic Image Resize' facility is enabled or activated:

  • Note:
    • If you have opted for the Dynamic Image Resize facility for your store, instead of Small, Large, Thumbnail, Zoom and Custom images, you need to specify only a single the Source image.
    • However, you need to specify Deep Zoom images (if required) separately through the Variant Alt Text link of the respective image set.
    • Please Refer: Dynamic Image Resize for knowing how to activate the 'dynamic image resize' facility at your store.

  • When the 'dynamic image resize' facility' is activated, you will find the Product Image Sets section in the Product Images page as shown in the figure.


 Add Bundle Product

  • You can associate the 'source' images for the selected set of images from the image repository or from your PC.
  • To select the source image from your PC, click the corresponding Browse button. You will be displayed an Open dialog box.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Select the required image from your PC and click Open. The Open dialog box will be closed and the file name of the selected image file will be displayed in the selected image set.


OR

  • You can also select the source image from the image repository if you have uploaded the same through the File Manager
  • To select the source image from the image repository, click the corresponding Select button. You will be displayed an Image Picker dialog box displaying the corresponding 'source images' from the 'image repository'.


 Add/Edit Physical Products

  • Double click on the required image. The Image Picker dialog box will be closed and the respective image file will be displayed in the respective 'image set' as shown in the figure.


 Add/Edit Physical Products

  • You can now associate 'Deep Zoom' image and define the 'showcase alt text' and 'product page alt text'. You can also add images to the main products or to the selected variant value or to the selected variant SKU here.
  • To do so, click Variant/Alt Text link of that 'Image Set. You will be displayed a Add/Edit Image Set dialog box.


 Add/Edit Physical Products

  • Enter the Sequence of the 'Image Set' in the Sequence text box. The sequence reflects the sequence of 'Thumbnail' or 'Swatch' images.
  • If variants are mapped for this product, you can find the three radio buttons here - No AssociationVariant Property and Variant SKU. By default, the No Association radio button is selected.
  • No Association: When you want to map the images to the main product instead of variant values or variant SKU, select this option.

  • When this radio button is selected, the following section will be displayed.

  • Select the required variant SKU from the Variant SKU drop-down.
  • Now associate different types of images for the selected set of images. You can select the images from the image repository or from your PC.
  • To select the source image from your PC, click the corresponding Browse button. You will be displayed an Open dialog box.


 Add Bundle Product

  • Select the required image from your PC and click Open. The Open dialog box will be closed and the file name of the selected image file will be displayed in the Source text box.
  • Note: If you have already selected the 'source' image earlier through Browse or Select buttons, the same image name will be displayed here. So, no need to change the source image until and unless you want to modify the previous source image.


OR

  • You can also select the image from the Image Repository if you have uploaded the same through the File Manager
  • To select the source from image repository, click the corresponding Select button. You will be displayed an Image Picker dialog box displaying the corresponding images from the image repository.
     Add/Edit Physical Products
  • Double click on the required image. The Image Picker dialog box will be closed and the respective image file will be displayed in the Source text box.
  • Similarly associate Deep Zoom image.
  • Enter the small image alternative text in the 'Showcase Alt Text' text box.
    • Note: This text will appear when you mouseover on the 'Small Image' in the 'Product Showcase' (i.e. in the Storefront)
  • Enter the large image alternative text in the 'Product Page Alt Text' text box.
    • Note: This text will appear when you mouseover on the 'Large Image' in the 'Product Details' page (i.e. in the Storefront).
  • To specify the view of the image, select a value from the View Port drop-down. This is just for your reference. The following options are available:
    • Front(F): Front view
    • Back(R): Back view
    • Top(T): Top view
    • Bottom(B): Bottom view
    • Left(Lt): Left view
    • Right(Rt): Right view
  • To save the images, click Save. The Add/Edit Image Set dialog box will be saved and the source image will be displayed in the respective image set as shown in the figure.


 Add/Edit Physical Products

  • Similarly associate images to the other image sets (if required).
  • Swatch Image Sets: You can define the swatch images against the required variant values for the selected product here.


 Add Bundle Product
