Product Details:
- Each Product should be mapped to a relevant Category for facilitating users to find out the product easily at your store.
- To select a Category, click the '
' button of the Category text box. You will be displayed a Select Category dialog box.
- The categories that are configured to your store will be displayed here. Find out the suitable category and select.
- There are two methods for finding out required Category:
- i) Start entering the 'Category name' in the Category text box slowly. You will be displayed auto-completed list according to the entered criteria. Select a suitable Category from this list.
or
- ii) Expand the Category hierarchy and select the required Category.
- Click Submit. The Select Category dialog box will be closed and the name of the selected category will be displayed in the Category text box.
- Now let's discuss mapping the brand. Enter the initial letters of the brand in the Brand text box and select the relevant Brand from the auto-complete list.
- Note:
- All available brands of your store (both the custom and repository brands) will be displayed through an auto-complete list by just entering the initial characters of the brand in the Brand text box.
- Enter the name of the product with a limit of 100 characters, in the Product Title text box.
- You can also add the 'product variants' to this Product. To do so, selected the “Does this product has product options/variants” checkbox in the Product Details section.
- Note: If you select this option, you can find the Variants tab under the Additional Information tab at the top right corner of the page after saving the product's basic information.

Basic Information:
- Enter Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) in the Product SKU text box ( max. limit is 50 characters)
- Note:
- SKU is a number or string of alpha and numeric characters that uniquely identify a product. It is often pronounced as skew.
- The following are not allowed as SKU: %, &, double quote (“), single (’), comma (,), less than (<).
- Enter the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) in the MRP/RRP text box in Indian Rupees.
- Enter the 'Selling price' i.e. Web price in the Web Price text box in Indian Rupees.
- Enter the 'Cost Price' for your own reference in the Cost Price text box in Indian Rupees.
- Enter the 'Token Price' in the Token Price text box in Indian Rupees if the product is a Deal Product.
- Note: 'Token Price' is the advance payment taken from customer to reserve a product. The rest of the money will be taken from the customer while collecting the product from your physical store.
- Enter the approximate delivery time in the Delivery Time text box (within 40 characters) in either text or digits or alphanumeric form. You can mention text also here, For example: Within 48 Hrs, 7 Days, etc… Whatever you enter here, it will display the same in Storefront.
- To treat this product as a location-based product, select the Location Based Inventory checkbox.
Product Stock Information:
- Inventory:
It's the stock of this product. Enter the stock of the product in the Inventory text box.- Note: The inventory specified in the 'Inventory' text box will be considered as the stock of the 'Default Location' in both the cases of location-based and non-location based inventory.
- Pkg Qty:
The package quantity is the lot size (or batch size) of a specific product that is acceptable to you. The order can be placed only for the multiples of ‘Pkg Qty’ provided the order qty satisfies the 'minimum order quantity' criteria.
- Reserve Quantity:
You can reserve some products (if reqd.) for special purposes by defining the reserve quantity so that, Orders cannot be placed when this quantity is reached. To reserve some quantity of product(s) for some special purpose, enter the reserve quantity in the Reserve Quantity text box.- Note:
- End-users will not be permitted to place orders when 'Reserve Quantity' has reached.
For example, you can reserve some products for regular customers, loyalty customers, to create an artificial shortfall, etc… - If the inventory of one or more products/product variants has reached the defined `Reserve Quantity`, an alert will be displayed under the Alerts tab in the Dashboard page.
- Reorder Stock Level:
Enter the quantity at which you want to reorder the product.- Note: If the inventory of one or more products/product variants has reached the defined `reorder stock level`, an alert will be displayed under the Alerts tab in the Dashboard page.
- Stock Alert Quantity:
Enter the stock alert quantity at which you want to get a stock alert. This quantity helps in alerting you when the stock of the product reaches this level so that you can do the needful action. To get a 'stock alert', enter the stock alert quantity in the Stock Alert Quantity text box.- Note: If the inventory of one or more products/product variants has reached the defined `Stock Alert Quantity`, an alert will be displayed under the Alerts tab in the Dashboard page.
- Minimum Order Quantity:
It is the smallest order quantity of a specific product that is acceptable to you. Minimum Order Quantity should be in multiples of 'Pkg Qty'. Order cannot be placed below this qty or if this qty is not in multiples of ‘Pkg Qty’. Enter the minimum order quantity of this product in the Minimum Order Quantity text box.
- Maximum Order Quantity:
It is the highest order quantity of a specific product that is acceptable to you. The order cannot be placed beyond this quantity. Enter the maximum order quantity of this product in the Maximum Order Quantity text box.
- Enable: Preorder / Backorder:
These options let the end-users to take purchase decisions when the stock is not available or when the product itself is yet to release.- Preorder: Preorders allow the end-users to place an order for reserving a new product before the official launch of that product. To enable preorder, select the Enable Preorder checkbox.
- Backorder: Backorders allow the end-users to place orders even when the stock is expired. Backorder facilitates you to know the demand for a particular product so that, you can go for procurement accordingly. To enable backorder, select the Enable Backorder checkbox.
- Stock Available Message:
You can display a suitable message about stock availability in case of the Preorder and Backorder, in the Product Details page. Enter suitable message about stock availability in the Stock Available Message text box.
Payment Information: and Delivery Options:
- To configure the checkout options for this product, select the appropriate checkboxes as per available checkout options of your store in the Payment Information section.
- Select the applicable delivery option for this product:
- To enable shipping option for the product, select Ship checkbox in the Delivery Options section.
- To display 'Call for Actions' in 'Product Details' page of this product, select Offline checkbox in the Delivery Options section.
- To allow downloadable deliveries such as Donations, Re-charges of Mobiles, movies, ringtones, software, etc…, where there is no physical delivery after payment, the select Online checkbox in the Delivery Options section.
- Note:
- 1. If you select this checkbox, the 'Shipping Address' in the checkout process (Storefront) will disappear.
- 2. If 'Online' checkbox is selected, all other Shipping options will be disabled.
- To provide pickup at store facility to the user, select Instore Pickup checkbox.
Product Description:
Short Description:
- To enter the 'short description', click the Edit button of the Short Description text box. You will be displayed a Short Description dialog box.
- The Short Description dialog is a Microsoft Word - WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor and whatever the style you enter here, it will be displayed in the same style in storefront.
- To display short description in the Products Details page just beside the product image, enter the description briefly in the Short Description dialog box in your desired style and click Close.
Long Description:
- To enter the 'long description', click the Edit button of the Long Description text box. You will be displayed a Long Description dialog box.
- The Long Description dialog box is a Microsoft Word - WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor and whatever the style you enter here, it will be displayed in the same style in the storefront.
- To display the long description in the Products Details page just below the product image i.e. in the Description tab, enter the description elaborately in the Long Description dialog box in your desired style and click Close.
- Note: Please refer: Multipurpose Box for knowing how to add different types content in the WYSIWYG editor.
Product Images:
i) Small Image:
- To add a small image, click the Add Image button of the Small Image text box. This will open an Image Picker dialogue box displaying the uploaded images of the Small folder of the 'File Manager'.
- Double-click the suitable image. The respective image will be selected in the Small Image text box.
ii) Large Image:
- To add a Large image, click the Add Image button of the Large Image text box. This will open an Image Picker dialogue box displaying the uploaded images of the Large folder of the 'File Manager'.
- Double-click the suitable image. The respective image will be selected in the Large Image text box.
Note: If you have opted for the Dynamic Image Resize facility for your store, you will need to upload the Source Image under the Product Images section instead of the small and large images.

- To add source image, click the Add Image button. This will open an Image Picker dialogue box displaying the uploaded images of the Source folder of the 'File Manager'.
- Double-click the suitable image. The respective image will be selected in the Source Image text box.
Shipping Information:
- To configure the shipping charges for this product, select the appropriate shipping code from the Available Codes column and click the '
' icon. The selected codes will be moved to the Selected Codes column.
- To remove a selected 'shipping code' for this product, select the code from the Selected Codes column and click the '
' icon. The removed shipping code will be added back to the Available Codes column.
- Note: To select multiple codes, hold 'Ctrl' key and select.
- To proceed further, click Save and Next. You will be navigated to the next page, where you can add the 'additional information. The Additional Information tab at the top right corner of the page will be opened now.
- Note:
- You can also click Save and Return to Product List button, to save the 'product information' and redirect to the 'Product List' page.
- You can also click Save and Add New button, to save the 'product information' and add a new 'product'.
- You can also click Save button to save the 'product information' and stay on the same page (i.e. if you don't want to add further details now).
