1. How do I view the existing operators of my web store and create new operators?

OR

How do I create role-based users (store operators) by location wise for my web store?


To view the existing operators of your web store and to create new operators, do the following:

  • Log in to 'MartJack Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the 'Dashboard' page. Click Settings module.

  • Click (or mouse over on) the Permissions tab and select the Store Operators tab. You will be navigated to the Permissions > Role-based User List page.

  • You can verify the existing 'Role-based Users' of your web store, in the Role-based User List grid.
  • To create a new 'Role-based User', click Create New Role-based User. You will be navigated to the Create Role-based User page.
  • Note: You can also navigate to this page by clicking the Settings > Store Information > Locations and clicking the  Store Operators icon of the location & User Details tab thereafter.

  • You can create the new role-based user.
  • Enter the first name of the role-based user in the First Name text box.
  • Enter the last name of the role-based user in the Last Name text box.
  • Enter the email of the role-based user in the Email text box.
  • Enter the password of the role-based user in the Password text box.
  • Enter the country code and mobile number of the role-based user in the Mobile No. text boxes.
  • To make the user active, select Active.
  • Now you can define the roles for this user. The available roles are listed under the Available Roles section.
  • To assign the roles, select the required roles under the Available Roles section and click  Store Operators. The selected roles will be moved to the Assigned Roles section.
  • Now you can map the required location(s) to the respective user. You can map single or multiple locations.
  • To add the required locations, select the respective locations under the Available Locations section and click  Store Operators. The respective locations will be moved to the Assigned Locations sections.
  • Click Save. The role-based users will be mapped to the selected locations and you will be displayed a relevant success message.

2. How do I assign the sales targets to my store operators (store associates)?

  • This feature facilitates the store manager or admin user to create and manage the sales targets for the store operators.

  • The targets could be monthly, quarterly, yearly, or one-time.

  • These targets could be recurring as well, for example, the defined monthly target will be recurrent in every month within the specified dates.

  • The store managers can review the performance of each store operator, while the store operators can track their progress with respect to their assigned targets.


To assign the sales targets to your store operators, do the following:

  • Log in to 'MartJack Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You can verify the existing 'Role-based Users' of your web store, in the Role-based User List grid.
  • To assign the sales targets to a store operator, click the respective  Store Operators icon under the Action column. You will be navigated to the Manage Targets of Store Operators page.

  • You can find the 'username' and the 'Email ID' of the selected store operator under the Store Associate Details section.
  • You can also view the previously created targets (if any) for the respective store operator under the Available Targets section.
  • To create a new target, click Add New Target You will be displayed the Add/Edit Target dialog box.

  • Select the periodicity of the target from the Periodicity drop-down. You have the following options:
    • Monthly: The defined monthly target will be recurrent in every month within the specified dates.
      • Note: Both the start and end dates are mandatory for the monthly target creation.
    • Quarterly: The defined quarterly target will be recurrent in every quarter within the specified dates.
      • Note: Both the start and end dates are mandatory for the quarterly target creation.
    • Yearly: The defined yearly target will be recurrent in every year within the specified dates.
      • Note: Both the start and end dates are mandatory for the yearly target creation.
    • One-time: This is a one-time target from the start date.
      • Note: The start date is mandatory for the one-time target creation.
  • Select the commencement date for the target from the Start Date 'date picker.'
  • Select the end date for the target from the End Date 'date picker.'
  • Enter the value of the target in the Target Value text box.
  • Enter the comments to specify whether the target value is price-based or order-based in the Comments text box.
  • To save the target, click Add. The target will be saved and you will be displayed a success message. The newly created target will be listed under the Available Targets section.

1. Only the 'Admin' user can create other role-based users (Store Operators) and change the password of them.

2. By default, the admin user is the 'Default Admin User' and can create an 'Additional Admin User' as per the requirement.

3. You can't edit or delete the details of the 'Default Admin User' from here.

4. However, the password for the 'Default Admin User' can be modified through the Settings » Account Details module.
