• The available SMS providers which are supported by the platform are listed here.

  • You can select and configure any one of the SMS provider after a proper tie-up with that provider.

  • At a time only one provider can be configured.

  • In case you want to change the SMS provider, first you need to delete the existing provider and then you can proceed with another provider.

How do I configure the SMS Provider for my Web Store?

  • Note: You can configure SMS services provided by us or any third party SMS providers that are listed here (i.e. in SMS Management > Provider Configuration page).


To configure the SMS Provider for your Web Store, do the following:

  • Log in to the 'MartJack Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the Dashboard page.

  • Click the  Provider Configuration icon. The Marketing section will be displayed as shown in the figure.

  • Click SMS Management, and select Provider Configuration. You will be navigated to the SMS Management > Provider Configuration page.

  • If any SMS provider is configured, you can find the details under the Configured Provider section.
    • Note:
      • At a time only one provider can be configured. In the case you want to change the SMS provider, first you need to delete the existing provider, and then you can proceed with another provider.
      • The ‘Edit’ and ‘Remove’ options (i.e. links) are available for the configured SMS Provider. You can use them as per your requirement.
  • The available providers are listed under the Select Provider section. You can use the SMS services provided by Martjack or you can select and configure any one of the other SMS providers that are listed here after a proper tie-up with that provider.


Configuring SMS services provided by Martjack:

  • To configure the SMS services provided by us, the click  Provider Configuration image as shown in the figure.

  • Then you will be navigated to the SMS Management > Apply for Sender ID page.

  • Enter 1st preference of your desired sender id in the Preference1 text box.
    Note:
    • The sender id is the identity of the sender in the SMS content. By this sender id, the user can easily identify the sender of the message.
    • Please choose your sender id very carefully. It cannot be changed once set.
    • Enter all your preferences for sender id, based on the availability the top-most preference will be approved by us.
    • Do not use any sender id which is copyrighted or a trademark of any other company. If found, your account will be suspended
  • Enter the 2nd preference of your desired sender id in the Preference2 text box.
  • Enter the 3rd preference of your desired sender id in the Preference3 text box.
  • Enter the 4th preference of your desired sender id in the Preference4 text box.
  • Click Send for Approval. Your request will be sent for the approval and you will be displayed a success message.


 Provider Configuration

  • Once your request is approved by our admin, you can find the configured provider under the Configured Provider section.

  • Note:
    • You can edit or delete the configured SMS provider through the Edit or Delete links respectively.
    • At a time only one SMS provider can be configured. If you have already configured an SMS provider and want to configure another SMS provider, you need to delete the previously configured SMS provider.


Configuring SMS services provided by other SMS providers:

  • Note: You can configure any third party SMS provider which are supported by the platform and are listed under the Select Provider section of SMS Management > Provider Configuration page.
  • If you have already configured an SMS provider, delete the existing SMS provider by clicking the Delete link.
  • Now click the required SMS provider, for example, click the  Provider Configuration image as shown in the figure.

  • You will be navigated to the SMS Management > Add/Edit Provider Configuration page.

  • Enter the username given by the respective SMS provider in the User Name text box.
  • Enter the password given by the respective SMS provider in the Password text box.
  • Enter the API URL given by the respective SMS provider in the API URL text box.
  • Enter the sender id in the Sender ID text box.
  • To save the configuration, click Save. Your configuration will be saved and you will be displayed a relevant success message.

  • The configured SMS provider will be listed under the Configured Provider section.

  • Similarly, you can configure other required SMS Provider that are listed in the SMS Management > Provider Configuration page.
