What are the different apps available at the Anywhere Commerce control panel and how do I install the required apps for my web store?


To view the available apps at the Anywhere Commerce control panel and to install the required apps to your web store, do the following:

  • Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the 'Dashboard' page.

  • Click the  Apps icon. The Apps section will be displayed as shown in the figure.

  • Select App Store. You will be navigated to the Install Apps page.

  • Verify the available apps in the Install Apps Page.
    • They areReward Points, Mobile/WAP Site, Flash Sale Events, Personalization, ChimpJack, SocialJack, 'Your Store' API Integration, and Enable Storefront for location awareness, Zendesk, etc…
  • To know about a specific app, mouseover on the app image and you will be displayed the relevant information.
  • You can click the  Apps button of the respective app to install the App. Once your request is accepted, you can find the relevant links for further configuration of the respective apps.

Let's learn how to install the following Apps:

1. Reward Points:

  • Understanding consumer sales psychology, we have designed the Reward Points Program which offers a wide range of mechanism to reward customers collected points while participating in purchasing on your web-store, registering, buying or reviewing any product, inviting friends to visit your site, and etc.

  • Consumer can able to earn as well as burn the reward points.



  • Navigate to the Reward Points app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

2. Mobile/WAP Site:

  • The original WAP model provided a simple platform for access to web-like WML services and e-mail using mobile phones in Europe and the SE Asian regions. As of 2009, it continues with a considerable user base.

  • Installing the Mobile/WAP Site app will enable to create your Mobile/WAP Site.



  • Navigate to the Mobile/WAP Site app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

  • The Flash sales are the latest business trends in the e-tail marketing enabling you to display time-limited offers with huge discounts. Flash sales are the best means of building 'Brand loyalty' and liquidating surplus or 'out-of-season' stocks within a short span of time while keeping you still at profits.

  • Installing the Flash Sale Events app will enable you to display time-limited offers with huge discounts.



  • Navigate to the Flash Sale Events app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

  • Personalized recommendations create customer loyalty, build trust and strengthen the relationship between your customer and your business.

  • Recommendation systems are critical because they find customer patterns and help them to find out the products they want, whereas on large eCommerce websites they may never find products deep within product categories.

  • Installing the Personalization app will enable you to ask display time-limited offers with huge discounts on your storefront which can attract more customers as the time limit is there for availing those offers.



  • Navigate to the Personalization app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

5. ChimpJack:

  • The ChimpJack is an official app that allows you to integrate your Email database with the ‘MailChimp’ for easing your email promotion campaigns.

  • Complete the ChimpJack setup by specifying the relevant data obtained from the Anywhere Commerce and MailChimp accounts, map your ‘Mailing List(s)’ with ‘MailChimp List’ and sync your email data with mapped MailChimp List. Now, your email database is ready to use from MailChimp.

  • Installing the ChimpJack app will enable you to migrate your email database from Anywhere Commerce platform to MailChimp for ready use.



  • Navigate to the ChimpJack app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

6. SocialJack:

  • The SocialJack allows you to integrate your online store with Facebook. It’s a simple and quick solution to bring your store to Facebook and reach millions of peoples for the growth of your business.

  • You can create a ‘Facebook Timeline Page’ through Facebook and provide access to your store through ‘SocialJack’ to build a closer relationship with your customers. The products selected by the user will be added to Cart and the checkout options of your web store will be used here.

  • Installing the SocialJack app will enable you to integrate your online store with Facebook. It displays your store on Facebook and allows users to purchase from Facebook.



  • Navigate to the SocialJack app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

7. API Integration:

  • The API Integration allows you to generate the required secret keys to sync your database with external systems for better management of inventory, orders, product data, and so on.

  • Installing the API Integration app will enable you to generate 'Public Key' and 'Secret Key'.

  • The API Integration App will be displayed by prefixing with your 'Business Name' as displayed in the figure.



  • Navigate to the API Integration app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

  • Click  Apps to know more about the SocialJack app.
  • To install the API Integration app, click  Apps. The API Integration apps will be installed successfully to your web store and displayed under the Installed Apps section. Then, the 'Public Key' and 'Secret Key' will be generated.

  • To know the 'Public Key' and 'Secret Key', click the  Apps icon of the API Integration apps in the Install Apps page. You will be displayed a Authentication Keys dialog box, where you can find the required keys.

8. Enable Storefront for Location Awareness:

  • The Location awareness Add-on facilitates to display the targeted information of your store in accordance with the user's PIN Code / ZIP Code or Location.

  • After installing this Add-on, when end-users are accessing your store, they will be prompted for entering their 'PIN code' or for selecting their location to get relevant product data mapped to the stock locations. This will help the store to display inventory as per the location, while the users are benefited by knowing the complete range of products that are available and can be delivered to the mentioned PIN code/location only.

  • You can also avoid this popup for selecting a location or entering the pincode on the landing page or home page.



  • Navigate to the Enable Storefront for Location Awareness app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

  • To know about Enable Storefront for Location Awareness app, mouse-over on the respective app image in the Install Apps page and you will be displayed the relevant information.

  • Click  Apps to know more about the Reward Points app.
  • To install the Enable Storefront for Location Awareness app, click  Apps. The request for installing the Enable Storefront for Location Awareness app will be submitted to the Anywhere Commerce platform successfully and displayed under the Installed Apps section.

  • Once your request approved, you can find the Location Awareness tab under the Apps module.

  • Click Location Awareness of the Apps module. You will be navigated to the Location Awareness page and displayed under Installed Apps section.

  • Here you have two options for displaying popup in the storefront for enabling the user to select a location.
  • You can display either a drop-down for selecting ‘locations’ or a text box for entering the pincode through the popup.
  • To display location names through a drop-down, select the Location Names radio button and click Save. The Select your City drop-down will be displayed in the storefront through a popup.

  • To display a text box for entering Pincode, select Pincodes radio button and click Save. The ENTER YOUR PINCODE text box will be displayed in storefront through popup.

  • You can also avoid displaying this popup for selecting a location or entering the pincode on landing page or home page. To hide this popup on the landing page or home page, select the Hide checkbox of the Show Popup on Load section and click Save. Then, the popup will be displayed while adding a product to the cart.
  • You can also uninstall this app as and when required. To uninstall the Enable Storefront for Location Awareness app, click Uninstall in the Location Awareness page.
  • The Enable Storefront for Location Awareness app will be uninstalled and you will be displayed the relevant success message.

9. Zendesk:

  • The Zendesk apps helps to integrate your critical Anywhere Commerce account data with the Zendesk Support Ticket Information System. It is the easiest and fastest way to provide great customer service.

  • By configuring the 'Zendesk' apps, you yourself can check, raise and closely monitor your customer concerns (Tickets) from your 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' as well as from the 'Zendesk' Portal, thereby increase your customer satisfaction.



  • Navigate to the Zendesk app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

  • To install the Zendesk app, click  Apps. The Zendesk apps will be installed successfully to your web store and displayed under the Installed Apps section. Then, the 'Public Key' and 'Secret Key' will be generated. You can also find the Zendesk tab under the Apps module.

  • To know the 'Public Key' and 'Secret Key', click 'Key'  Apps icon of the Zendesk apps in the Install Apps page. You will be displayed a Authentication Keys dialog box, where you can find the required keys.

  • These Keys will be useful while performing the Zendesk 'Settings' in your control panel to integrate your critical 'Anywhere Commerce account data' with the 'Zendesk Support Ticket Information System'.

10. Localization:

  • This interface facilitates you to set up multiple languages at your site for making your site multilingual. Once the languages are set, you can enter or update the product data in these languages at your Control Panel.

  • You can also set up a flag/image against each language, which will be displayed in the storefront (i.e. in the place of the name of the language - i.e. 'text', which is displayed in respective local language) for easing the users in finding out the language option.

  • End-users will be given the choice of choosing their familiar language out of available languages at the storefront, and then your store will be displayed in that language. If you have not uploaded the product data in user selected language, then the products will be displayed in the default language.
  • Navigate to the Localization app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

11. Delivery Slots


Introduction:

  • Time is always precious and nowadays its value has been further increased. It has been also observed that customers do not prefer to wait for receiving a booked parcel at delivery address as they do not know when the parcel will be delivered.

  • Hence, it will be more beneficial to the customers, if they can opt for a definite delivery time for receiving the parcel. Thereby, the concept of ‘Deliver Slots’ has been arrived in eCommerce.

  • Delivery slots are the different time slots at which you are offering deliveries to your customers. Customers can choose an ideal slot as per their availability at their delivery addresses.

  • This interface allows you to create and manage delivery slots very easily.

  • Navigate to the Delivery Slots app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

12. Catalogue Importer


Introduction:

  • It might somewhat tiresome for manually adding a large number of products to your Control Panel. But, our catalog importer does all the hard work for you and ensures hassle-free imports of Product data from configured FTP location.

  • The catalogue importer facilitates to upload new products to your control panel by uploading respective product files in prescribed format in mapped FTP location. You can also modify existing product data in CP through this feature.

  • All you need to do is import a sample product file once to Control Panel, then map the product fields with the respective Predefined Product fields of Control Panel, complete FTP configuration and ensure the product file is uploaded to the specified FTP location in a prescribed format (i.e. tsv).

  • Navigate to the Catalogue Importer app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.

13. Capillary Points


Introduction:

  • The Capillary’s reward points increase your customer loyalty and engagement by earning and burning these points for the purchases at your store. You can do the earning as well as burning point’s configurations for Capillary, so that Capillary points can be used as a ‘Loyalty Program’ (earning points) as well as a ‘Payment Gateway’ (burning points).

  • After adding the Capillary Points app, you can find the ‘Capillary Payment Gateway’ tab under the ‘Apps’ module after your request is accepted by our Admin.

  • Then, you need to integrate the Capillary API for setting up the earning points and burning points mechanism to facilitate the end user earning and burning of Capillary reward points while making purchase transactions at your web store.

14. Sellerworx API


Introduction:

  • Sellerworx is an official app that allows you to sell more online at various marketplaces like the Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, Ebay etc. easily through their innovative technology solutions while simplifying your daily operations.

  • You can configure the Sellerworx API and you can also add the marketplace channels with whom you want to do business.

  • You can also map the products that you want to sell through the added channels.

  • Navigate to the Sellerworx app in the Available Apps section of the Install Apps page.
