What is an abandoned cart?

  • If a customer logs out after adding products to cart, the abandoned cart mail will be sent to the user immediately provided you have configured the 'Abandon cart' mail template accordingly.

  • After adding the products to the cart if a user closes browser, idle for more time before session expiry, on power or technical failures, etc…, then abandon cart mail will be sent to the user after Martjack runs the next scheduled service (Example: within next 10-15 min) provided you have configured the 'Abandon cart' mail template accordingly.

  • Shopping cart abandonment suggests a loss of orders & in turn is a loss to your business. If you have higher shopping cart abandon rate, it suggests a lower conversion rate and you will have to work harder to achieve your business goals.
