- Make sure to safeguard your existing Custom CSS file (if defined) before applying a template, else it will be deleted. To safeguard CSS Document, take the backup of your existing template by copying the customized CSS Document from the Style Sheet Editor page and save it in a 'Notepad' for future reference.
- By selecting this option, i.e. 'Delete category settings, content pages and brand pages', the Category pages and Brand pages will be deleted and automatically created as per the new template. However, you need to create your 'Custom Pages' again.
How do I select or change a template of my Store?
To select or change the template of your Store, do the following:
- Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.
- You will be navigated to the 'Dashboard' page.
- Click the
icon. The Dashboard & Setup section will be displayed as shown in the figure.
- Click Select Template tab of Dashboard & Setup module. You will be navigated to Select Template page.
- You can find the available templates in the Available Templates section.
- To search a template, enter the 'title of the template' in the Search Template text box and click the search symbol.
- You can view the remaining templates through pager, which is provided at the bottom.
- To view the bigger view of the template, hover the cursor on any template image.
- To verify how your Homepage,Category Landing page and Product Details page are going to look after applying a template, click View. You will be navigated to the Home Page of your storefront with demo products as shown in the figure.
- To view how your Category Landing page will look with this template, click Category Landing Page. The 'Category Landing page' will be displayed as shown in the figure.
- To view how your Product Details page will look with this template, click Products Details. The 'Products Details page' will be displayed as shown in the figure.
- To view the available color of a template, click Color Options tab of that template. You will be navigated to the Select Template > Select Color page.
- To view the bigger view of a template, hover the cursor on any template image or hover the cursor over the View link of that template.
- To apply a template after viewing the demo pages, click Apply. You will be displayed the Confirm dialog box.
- Note: Applying a new template causes the deletion of customization (if defined) in your existing template (i.e. existing Custom CSS file will be deleted).
To overcome this, first take the backup of your existing template by copying the customized CSS Document from the Style Sheet Editor page and save it in a 'Notepad' for future reference. - Select the “Yes, I understood that the customizations of my existing template will be deleted (if any)“ checkbox (Mandatory).
- Select the “Yes, I have taken the backup of my CSS Document via Style Sheet Editor” checkbox (Mandatory).
- You can also delete existing category pages, content pages, and the brand pages. To do so, select the “Delete category settings, content pages, and brand pages” checkbox.
- By selecting this option, the Category pages and Brand pages will be deleted and automatically created as per the new template. However, you need to create your 'Custom Pages' again.
- Click Continue. The Confirm dialog box will be closed and the selected template will be applied to your store.

Procedure for taking backup of 'Custom CSS' file:
1. Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.
2. You will be navigated to the 'Dashboard' page.
3. Click the icon. The Design & Content section will be displayed as shown in the figure.
4. Click CSS Editor. You will be navigated to the Style Sheet Editor page.
5. Copy the CSS code from Add/Edit CSS section and paste it in a Notepad and save the code.

1. Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.
2. You will be navigated to the 'Dashboard' page.
3. Click the icon. The Design & Content section will be displayed as shown in the figure.
Click File Manager. You will be navigated to the File Manager page.
4. Click Stylesheet folder and you will find CustomStyles.CSS file.
5. Right click on the CustonStyles.css file and click Open. The same will be opened in another window.
6. Right click on the page and click 'Save Page As'. You you will displayed a Save As dialog box.
7. Select a suitable location and save the file.
