Usages of the 'Bulk Product Download' interface:

  • 1. The 'Bulk Product Download’ interface allows you to download the Product Data of desired categories of your own store in an Excel format so that you can update the existing data or you can add new products through the Products > Bulk Tools > Bulk Product Upload module.

    • 1a. By specifying the P or D or A in the Product Type - P (Product) or D (Deal) or A (Addon) column in this downloaded Excel i.e. the ProductCatalogXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsx and uploading the same through the Bulk Product Upload interface, you can add Normal Product or Deal Product or Add-on Product respectively.

  • 2. If you have configured the Localization App for your store and define the required languages, you can also download the language sensitive data through this interface.

  • 3. You can specify location based flag (i.e. by specifying 'True' or 'False' in 'Location Based' column) also for Addons. Earlier this feature was working only with normal products.
    • Note: If the Addon is location basedthe end-user can only view the Addons of the selected location while customizing a bundle product.

  • To download required product data in a bulk quantity, do the following:
  • Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the Dashboard page.

  • Click the  Bulk Product Download icon. The Products section will be displayed as shown in the figure.

  • Click Bulk Tools, and select Bulk Product Download. You will be navigated to the Bulk Tools > Bulk Product Download page. By default, the Store Category tab will be opened.

  • To download the required product data, click Choose. You will be displayed a Select Category dialog box.

  • The categories that are configured with your store will be displayed here. Select the required categories/sub-categories.
  • Click Submit. The Select Category dialog box will be closed and the name of the selected Category (categories) will be displayed in the Category text box.

  • Click Generate File. The respective data will be downloaded and the download status will be updated in run-time under the Import Tasks section.

  • You can delete this task (if required) from the Import Tasks section by clicking the relevant  Bulk Product Download icon.
  • To get the downloaded product data, click the  Bulk Product Download icon of that respective download task under the Action column of the Import Tasks section. The ProductCatalogXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsx file will be downloaded.
  • To view and modify the product data, double-click on the ProductCatalogXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsx file and the Excel will be displayed as shown in the figure.


 Bulk Product Download

  • Note: There are two sheets here: 'Sheet1' and 'Definitions'. The Sheet1 contains product data, and the Definitions sheet contains the definitions/description of each column in 'Sheet1'.
  • Update the data as per the given fields and store the file in a suitable location.
  • Note: First go through the Definitions sheet for knowing exactly what each column of the Sheet1 denotes.

Variant SKU*Enter the SKU of 'Product Variant', which is a unique identifier for each of the distinct 'Product Variants' with a limit of 50 characters here. (%, &, ” ,', < not allowed)
Brand ID*Enter the unique identification number of Brand here. Download the list of existing brands through the 'Products > Bulk Tools > Default Data'
Product Title*Enter the name/title of the product with a limit of 100 characters here.
InventoryEnter the stock (quantity) of the product here.
MRPEnter the Maximum Retail Price of the product here.
Web priceEnter the selling price of the product at your web store here. It should be less than MRP.
AvailabilityEnter True if the product is Active and available in Storefront, else enter False. Deactivated products can't be visible at Storefront.
Small Image 100*100Enter the details of the small image here, which will be displayed in the Product Showcase (if the Custom Type of image is not defined and if Extended Properties section of that Product Showcase has not configured accordingly.)
Large Image 300*300Enter the details of the basic large image here, which will be displayed on 'Product Details' page.
Short DescriptionIt's the brief description of the product within 500 characters, which will be shown beside the product image in the Product Details page.
Product DescriptionIt's the detailed description of the product within 50000 characters, which will be shown through 'Description' tab in the Product Details page.
Payment Option-OnlineEnter Y to apply the Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking Checkout for this Product, else enter N. End-users can pay the order amount through Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking facility.
Payment Option-Cheque/DDEnter Y to apply the Cheque/DD Checkout for this Product, else enter N. The end-users need to create 'Cheque/DD' (as per details mentioned by you) for Order Amount and send it to you after placing the Order.
Payment Option-Bank TransferEnter Y to apply the Online Bank Transfer Checkout for this Product, else enter N. The end-users need to transfer the order amount to the account details as mentioned by you after placing the Order.
Payment Option-CODEnter Y to apply the Cash on Delivery Checkout for this Product, else enter N. The end-user pays the order amount to courier person after receiving the Product.
Delivery Option-ShipEnter Y if you provide Shipping for his product, else enter N.
Delivery Option-OfflineEnter Y to display the 'Call for Actions' for this product on the Product Details page, else enter NNote: 'Call for Actions' are lead generating mechanisms, which act as the interfaces between you and end-users.
Delivery Option-OnlineEnter Y to allow online deliveries such as Donations, Mobile recharges, etc… where there is no delivery after payment, else enter N.
Delivery Option-InStore PickupEnter Y if you provide pickup at store facility for this product else enter N.
Location Based InventoryEnter Y if product's saleable inventory should be taken from the selected location/store rather than aggregating across the locations/stores, else enter N. That means if you enter Y, the inventory against the user selected location only will be considered while placing orders instead of considering the cumulative inventory against all locations.
Shipping CodeA 'Shipping Code' facilitates to apply required Shipping charges to a product. Enter the applicable Shipping Code(s) here.
Tax CodeA 'Tax Code' facilitates to apply Tax charges to a product. Enter the applicable Tax Code(s) here.
Delivery TimeEnter the approximate delivery time in either text or digits or alphanumeric form. For example, Within 48 Hrs, 7 Days, etc… Whatever you enter here, it will display the same in Storefront.
Catalog SequenceEnter the sequence of Catalog (if any) here. This sequence will be useful to display the products in the order of 'Catalog Sequence' if 'Catalog Sequence' is selected from 'Dynamic Sequence' drop-down in the Extended Properties section of Product Showcase.
Shipping WeightThe existing 'Product Weight' is renamed as 'Shipping Weight'. When the Product or Variant is not sold on the weight basis, and the weight is required only for defining shipping charges, 'Shipping Weight' is usedShipping weight is considered for the Product or Variant when the 'UOM' is in 'Pieces'. It is the unit weight which cannot be changed in Picklist by Picker.
Variant Property 1Enter the 1st 'Variant Property' of the product (if any) for classification of the product. Example: Color

Product TagTags are the ‘Keywords’ that can be associated with products for classification & filtration. Enter the 'Global Tag(s)' for the required products in the 'Pipe separated' format.
Note: 1. If you left the 'Product Tag' column blank, the existing 'global tag' association with the respective products will be removed.
2. However, if you delete the 'Product Tag' column and upload the Excel, the previous 'global tag' association against the respective products will be retained.
3. If you specify some global tags in 'Product Tag' column, the existing 'global tag' association against the respective products will be removed and the latest global tags will be associated with the respective products

Offer Product DescriptionEnter the description of the offer (if any offer is there on this product) here, which will be displayed in the Products Details page just below the product image i.e. in Offers tab.

BuyingWeightBuying Weight will be the base weight of the Product or Variant and will override the 'Shipping Weight'. It can be modified by the user in Picklist App and modified weight will be considered for the price calculation and final invoice.
Pkg QtyPackage Quantity is the lot size (or batch size) of a specific product that is acceptable to you. The order can be placed only for the multiples of ‘Pkg Qty’ provided the order qty satisfies the 'Minimum Order Quantity' criteria.
Minimum Order QuantityEnter the minimum purchase quantity of the product for each order.
Maximum Order QuantityEnter the maximum purchase quantity of the product for each order.
Pre OrderPreorders allow the end-users to reserve a new product before the official launch of that product. Enter True or False to specify preorder facility is available for this product or not.
Back OrderBackorders allow the end-users to place orders even when the stock is expired. Enter True or False to specify backorder facility is available for this product or not.
Stock Available MessageYou can display a suitable message about stock availability in case of Preorder and Backorder, in the Product Details page. Enter suitable message about stock availability in the Stock Available Message text box.
Product ConditionEnter New or Used as per the condition of the product
Warranty bearerEnter the Warranty provider as Manufacturer or Dealer or No Warranty as per the source of warranty
Warranty In MonthsEnter the warranty for this product in months(If Warranty bearer is Manufacturer or Dealer)
Reserve QuantityTo reserve a product for some special purpose, enter the reserve quantity here. For example, you can reserve some products for regular customers, loyalty customers, to create an artificial shortfall, etc…
Reorder stock levelEnter the quantity at which you want to reorder the product.
Stock Alert QtyEnter the stock alert quantity at which you want to get a stock alert. This quantity helps in alerting you when the stock of the product reaches to this level so that you can do the needful action.
Bar CodeA barcode is an optical machine-readable representation of data, which shows data about the object to which it attaches. Enter the Bar Code of this product (if any) here. In the case of multiple barcodes for this product, enter them comma separated.
Model NumberEnter the 'model number' of the product (if any) here.
Catalog CodeEnter the 'Catalog Code' of the product (if any) here.
Purchase DateEnter the date of purchase of the product in the DD/MM/YYYY format here.
Product NoteEnter the additional information about the product (if any) here. This is for internal reference only and not displayed on any page.
Form CodeAd-hoc Forms allow you to create customized web forms with a number of custom fields and you can use them to receive customized orders from end-users. To display a suitable Ad-hoc form in the Product Details page, enter the relevant code.
Checkout With Token PriceEnter Y or N to specify whether to allow checkout with the Token price (partial/full advance amount) or not.
Token PriceEnter the 'Token Price', which is the advance payment for reserving the product. At present this functionality is being used in the case of 'Local Deals'.
Cost PriceEnter the 'Cost Price' of the product for your own reference here.
Hide PriceEnter Y to hide the price of this product on the storefront, else enter N. You can display 'Price on Request' Call for Action to reveal the price only to the interested customers.

Add-on Products:

  • Add-on products are the products which can't be directly purchased, they are add-ons of a specific base product and they should be purchased along with the mapped base product.
    • For example, Meat, Veggie, Cheese, … which are the toppings for a Pizza. They can't be ordered independently. They can be ordered along with Pizza only.
    • Add-on products can't find out in search results.
    • You can create add-on products through Bulk Product Excel only i.e. ProductCatalogXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsx. To add add-on products, enter A in Product Type - P (Product) or D (Deal) or A (Addon) column of ProductCatalogXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsx file.


Normal Products and Deal Products:

  • Note: Similarly, by specifying the P or D in Product Type - P (Product) or D (Deal) or A (Addon) column in the ProductCatalogXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsx and uploading the same through the Bulk Product Upload interface, you can add the Normal Product or the Deal Product respectively.
