A catalog is an itemized list of all the products available in a Web store. The catalog enables the customer to have a quick glance at the products available in your Web store.

Product List facilitates to list out your products using multiple search criteria such as:
  • Title
  • SKU
  • Category
  • Product Status (i.e. Active/inactive products or all products.)
  • Brand
  • Product Tag
  • Vendor - Vendor is an enterprise, who contributes goods or services for your store.
  • Reject State: This option will be visible when you have enabled 'vendor self service'
  • Location
  • Product Group

After listing the required products, you can perform multiple activities with that list such as: viewing/editing products, migrating Categories, Adding/removing Product Tags, and managing Product Images/Additional Content/ Product Variants/ Attribute Values/creating Product Groups and adding required products to product groups and so on.

How do I list out the products of my own store by different search criteria?


To list out the products of your Web store by different search criteria, do the following:

  • Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the Dashboard page.

  • Click the  Product List icon. The Products section will be displayed as shown in the figure.

  • Click Product List. You will be navigated to the Product List page.


 Data Feed Center

  • You can list out the products of your own store by multiple search criteria such as: by Title/SKU/Category/Product Status/Brand/Product Tag/Vendor/Reject State/Location/Product Group. This will list out the products as per selection criteria.
    • Note: You can choose single or multiple search options to list out the products as per your search criteria.
  • To list out the products by 'Product title', enter the respective title in the Title text box.
  • Search through the Multilingual Product Title:
    • If you have configured the multiple languages at your store, you can find a language drop-down beside the Title text box. To search the products through the multilingual product title, select the required language from this drop-down and enter the title in the respective language in the Title text box.
  • To list out the products by 'SKU', enter the respective SKU in the SKU text box.
  • To list out the products by 'Category', click the ' Product List' icon that is beside the Category drop-down. You will be displayed a Select Category dialog box.


 Product List

  • Here, you can search the required categories in two ways:
    • i) Start entering the category name in the Category text box slowly. You will be displayed an auto-completed list according to the entered criteria. Select a suitable Category from this list.
      or
    • ii) Expand the Category hierarchy and select the required Category.
    • Click Submit. The Select Category dialog box will be closed and the name of the selected Category will be displayed in the Category text box.
  • To list out based on 'product status', select a suitable option from the Product Status drop-down.
    • Note: Active - Live Products, Inactive - deactivated products and, Select All - both
  • To list out the products by 'Brand', select the respective brand from theBrand drop-down.
  • To list out the products by 'Product Tag', select the respective product tag from theProduct Tag drop-down.
  • To list out the products by 'Vendor' or 3rd party supplier of your store, click Choose button of the Vendor box. Then you will be displayed a Select Seller dialog box.


 Product List

  • Select the required vendor, and click Submit. The dialog box will be closed and the 'Business Name' of the selected vendor will be displayed in theVendor box.
  • To list out the vendor products that are in a rejected state, select yes from Reject State option.
    • Note: The Reject State option will be displayed only when you have selected the Enable Vendor Self Service checkbox for any Vendor in the Add/Edit Vendor page.

  • To list out the Products based on 'availability in eXchange', select suitable option from the Availability in eXchange drop-down.
  • To list out the Products as per 'stock location', select the respective 'Stock Location' from Location drop-down.
  • To list out required products, you can select a single search criterion or multiple criteria (if required) and click Go
  • A list of products will be displayed as per search criteria.

  • By default, the Product List will be shown in a Grid view (as shown in above figure).
  • To view the 'Product List' in a List View as shown in below figure, click the icon  Product List.

What are the different actions I can perform with product list?


You can do the following activities from the 'product list':

  • Get access to the 'Product View' page to view the products: By clicking the ' View' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Edit Products: By clicking the ' Edit' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Migrate Categories: Through the Category Migration button under the More Options section.

  • Add/remove Product Tags from required product(s): Through the Manage Product Tags button.

  • Manage Product Images: By clicking the the ' Product Images' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Manage Additional Content: By clicking the ' Additional Content' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Manage Product Variants: By clicking the ' Variant' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Manage Attribute Values: By clicking the ' Attribute' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Export Product data to Excel: Through the Export to Excel button under the More Options section.

  • Export Product data to PDF: Through the Export to PDF button under the More Options section.

  • Deactivate Products: Through the 'Deactivate Product' button above the Product List grid or by clicking the  View' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Activate Products: By clicking the ' View' icon under the Actions column of the Product List grid.

  • Delete Product(s): Through the 'Delete Product' button above the Product List grid.

  • Create Product Groups and associate/remove Products from required product group(s): Through 'Manage Product Groups' button.
