Introduction:

  • Note: You can create bulk orders from your control panel on behalf of Registered User, Non-Registered or New User and Guest user (i.e. new user & without storing user details).

Benefits:

  • This feature enables the merchant to create an order on behalf of the customer from the Anywhere Commerce control panel by taking the details from the customer during the telephonic conversation with the user.

  • This facility will help Registered UserNon-Registered or New Users and Guest users (i.e. new users & without storing user details) to raise an order through you by just dialing the mentioned phone number on the storefront.

  • This order is taken through telephone, and the customer is not required any computer knowledge to raise an order.

How do I create bulk orders from Control Panel?


To create bulk orders from your control panel (on behalf of your existing or new customers), do the following:

  • Log in to the 'Anywhere Commerce Control Panel' by using your User Name (Email Address) and Password.

  • You will be navigated to the Dashboard page.

  • Click the  Create Order icon. The Orders & Leads section will be displayed as shown in the figure.

  • Click Create Order and select Bulk Order. You will be navigated to the Create Order > Bulk Order page.

  • Now you need to download the Excel format for mentioning bulk order details. To download the excel, click Click here link. Then BulkOrder.xlsx file will be downloaded. To open the file, double-click on BulkOrder.xlsx file. The Excel will be opened and displayed as shown in Figure:

  • There are 3 sheets here. i.e. Order Info, Item Info, and Payment Info. By default Order Info will be opened. You need to enter Order information in this sheet as follows:


Order Info:
Let's see how to fill 'Order Info' sheet:

  • Order Ref No - Enter a unique reference number for each order here. This number will be used for referring the order in the next two sheets.
  • Order Date - Enter the date of placing the order
  • Customer type - Select Registered User or Guest User as per user type.
  • Email ID / User ID - Enter the email id or User ID of the user
  • Calculate order amount - Select 'Yes' when the order amount is to be calculated based on the values given in CP against that respective product.
    • Note: If No is selected here, then the order amount will be calculated based on the values entered in Item Info sheet i.e. values entered against Quantity, Unit Price, Shipping Amount, Tax charges, Shipping Discount, and Line Discount.
  • Total order value - Enter the total order value if you have selected No in Calculate order amount column.
  • Order Status - Select the Order Status as Pending if payment is not received or as Authorized if payment received.
  • Send order confirmation mail - Select Yes if you want to send Order confirmation mail after placing an order. Else, select No.
  • Send Payment link to customer - Select Yes for sending a payment link along with order confirmation mail. Else, select No.
  • Calculate Shipping & Tax based on setup rules - Select Yes to calculate Shipping & Tax based on setup rules. Else, select No.
    • Note: If 'No, is selected here, then the values entered in Item Info sheet i.e. values entered against Shipping Amount, Tax charges, Shipping Discount will be considered for calculating shipping & tax charges.
  • Discount Voucher code - Enter the applicable discount voucher code (if any) for this order (i.e. products of the order)
  • Ship First Name - Enter the first name of the person to whom you are sending this Order.
  • Ship Last Name - Enter the last name of the person to whom you are sending this Order.
  • Ship Addressline 1 - Enter the address1 as per Shipping address.
  • Ship Addressline 2 - Enter the address2 as per Shipping address.
  • Ship City - Enter the name of the City as per Shipping address.
  • Ship State - Enter the name of the State as per Shipping address.
  • Ship Country - Enter the name of the Country as per Shipping address.
  • Ship Pin code - Enter the Pincode as per Shipping address.
  • Ship Landline - Enter the landline number of the person to whom you are sending this Order.
  • Ship Mobile - Enter the mobile number of the person to whom you are sending this Order.
  • Ship Email ID - Enter the email id of person to whom you are sending this Order.
  • Bill First Name - Enter the first name of the person against whom you are billing this Order.
  • Bill Last Name - Enter the last name of the person against whom you are billing this Order.
  • Bill Address 1 - Enter the address1 of the person against whom you are billing this Order.
  • Bill Address 2 - Enter the address2 of the person to whom you are billing this Order.
  • Bill City - Enter the name of the City as per Billing address.
  • Bill State - Enter the name of the State as per Billing address.
  • Bill Country - Enter the name of the Country as per Billing address.
  • Bill Pin code - Enter the Pincode as per Billing address.
  • Bill Landline - Enter the landline number of the person against whom you are billing this Order.
  • Bill Mobile - Enter the mobile number of the person against whom you are billing this Order.
  • Bill Email ID - Enter the email id of person to whom you are billing this Order.
  • Gift message - Enter the gift message for this order (if any)
  • To be delivered on - Enter the approximate date of delivery as requested by the customer in a DD-MMM-YYYY format.
  • Shipping Mode Name - Enter the name of the shipping mode for this order here.
  • Location Code - Enter the name of the stock location for location shipping.
  • Delivery slot Ref code - Enter the reference name of the 'Delivery Slot' here.


Item Info (i.e. Product Info):

Let's see how to fill 'Item Info' sheet:

  • Order Ref No - Enter the Order reference number for adding the Product Info.
    • Note: 'Order Ref No' should be unique and for every order, it should be same in 'Order Info', 'Item Info' and 'Payment Info' sheets.
  • Product SKU - Enter the SKU of Ordered product.
    • Note: If different products are there in an order, you need to mention them in separate lines (i.e. rows) by keeping the common 'Order Ref No'
  • Variant SKU - Enter the Variant SKU (if any) of Ordered product.
    • Note: If different Variant products are there in an order, you need to mention them in separate lines (i.e. rows) by keeping the common 'Order Ref No' and 'Product SKU'
  • Quantity - Enter the quantity of the product
  • Unit Price - Enter the unit price of the product
  • Shipping Amount - Enter the shipping amount of the product (if any)
  • Tax charges - Enter the tax charges of the product (if any)
  • Shipping Discount - Enter the discount amount on shipping (if any)
  • Line Discount - Enter the discount amount on product (if any)


Payment Info:

Let's see how to fill 'Payment Info' sheet:

  • Order Ref No - Enter the Order reference number for adding the payment Info
  • Checkout Type - Select applicable type of checkout
  • Payment instrument No. - Enter the payment instrument number (if any)
  • Transaction amount - Enter the transaction amount
  • Transaction date - Enter the transaction date on 'DD-MMM-YYYY' format.
  • Payment Status - Select the status of payment as Pending if payment is not received or as Authorized if payment received.
  • Gift Voucher code - Enter the gift voucher code (if any)
  • After filling all information, save the Excel in a suitable location.
  • Then navigate to Create Orders > Bulk Orders page.

  • Click Browse button. You will be displayed File Upload dialog box.

  • Select the BulkOrder.xlsx file from stored location and click Open. The dialog box will be closed and the name of the selected file will be displayed beside Browse button.

  • Click Upload. The file will be uploaded and the task history can be viewed under Import Tasks section.

  • In case of any problems in bulk order creation, you can find a  Create Order - Bulk Order icon against the task and you can view the details (i.e. Log Summary) by clicking that  Create Order - Bulk Order icon .

1. You can customize the email template for sending mails to end-user after creating orders on the behalf of the end-user from Control Panel at two places:

i) From Send Mail to end user section of Send Order Invoice template.
Pl Refer: Template For Sending Order Invoice
ii) From Create Order page after selecting Send Invoice Email checkbox.

Note: When you modify email template from Send Mail to end user section of Send Order Invoice template, then the email template appearing in Create Order page after selecting Send Invoice Email checkbox will be automatically modified but not vice versa.
